The Senegalese Foreign Service is, at the end of this year 2006, the theatre of an important movement of High ranking Officers throughout its Embassies abroad. This is the result of individual measures taken during the Council of Ministers held on December 21. Movement of personnel within Foreign Services is an important element for the revitalization or dynamization of national diplomatic Services. It should be then systematize within many African countries national diplomatic systems, what is not the case in many countries; situation which profoundly undermines foreign service officers’ motivation and sometimes fuels interpersonal jealousy.
